SHANE OWNS WCW...This is the GREATEST NIGHT EVER!! (3/28/01) WCW Nitro By Chad Dupree What a moment. It's been a long time since I have seriously marked out, but that segment did it for me. I knew it was going to happen one way or another, but I still marked out. WCW lives on. A few months ago, I couldn't have cared less, but now I'm thrilled about it. Goodbye from WCW Nitro's final broadcast on TNT, but I'll see you when WCW makes its debut...on TNN. (3/26/01) Lucha Libre on Galavision Report by Rex Manteca Wagner abdominal-stretches Atlantis with help from Emilio Charles on the apron. The ref sees and Emilio lets go, but as soon as the ref turns away, Bestia helps out. Atlantis breaks and gets a nice backbreaker on Wagner. Bestia grabs Atlangis from behind, Atlantis ducks, Wagner hits Bestia Salvaje, Atlantis and Wagner fight ringside as Porky splatters Emilio against the buckle. He tries his patented drop onto Bestia and Emilio, but he BOUNCES OFF. Atlantis tries an abdominal stretch on Wagner, but it is broken by Bestia Salvaje, who is attaacked by Braza de Oro. Oro goes to plancha Bestia, but Plata beats him to it and Oro lanzas them both. Atlantis and Wagner rip off half of each others' masks. Atlantis rolls up Wagner and Wagner fouls him to get a magistral and pin. (3/26/01) WWF Smackdown By Christian Friedman After Wrestlemania, they won't ask me what it's like to be Vince McMahon's son... they'll ask me what it's like to be Vince McMahon's Daddy!" Linda will be in Vince's corner during the match... and since I'm one of those evil bastards who gives the endings of movies away, here it is... Linda forgot to take her meds and she helps Shane win. There ya go, now you TOO can save money on the PPV! (3/26/01) WCW Thunder By Chad Dupree WCW is billing this edition of Thunder as the season finale, although series finale might seem the better term given the circumstances. TBS has shown wrestling longer than I've even been alive so it's almost shocking to see that it's remaining wrestling program is about to come to an end. Let's see if WCW can deliver a good show on their final night broadcasting from Superstation TBS. (3/26/01) Shoot To Thrill By BJ Bethel BJ Bethel has all the latest news on the WWF's buyout of WCW and Phil Mushnick vs. Vince McMahon. (3/26/01) NWA Wildside: Hardcore Hell 2001 by Larry Goodman Flair cleaned house on Kohl Brothers. They went four way leading to Bliss bumping Thomas. Kohls hit their doubleteam finisher on Flair, but Thomas was selling his broken arm. Finish saw Bliss post one of the Kohls and occupy Bailey, while Flair blasted the other Kohl with a belt. Flair covered for the pin and we had new NWA Wildside Tag Team Champions. Flair strutted across the ring. (3/26/01) NWA Wildside TV - Episode 77 By Larry Goodman NWA World Tag Team Title Match: JOEY MATTHEWS & CHRISTIAN YORK vs. BAD ATTITUDE (RICK MICHAELS & DAVID YOUNG). Rick Michaels cut a pre-match promo saying it didn't matter what promotion York & Matthews were with, BA would be walking out of the building with the belts. Michaels called Total Destruction "drunk pieces of garbage" and promised to destroy them at Hardcore Hell. Michaels said he hoped the docs at Habersham Medical Center would let TD drink all the beer that wanted, because that's where they would be after the match. |
